The Talent for Good Fair is the biggest talent fair for impact and purpose driven careers in the Netherlands. The Fair aims to connect students and young professionals with future career paths in The Hague and the Netherlands. We welcome international peace and justice organisations, local initiatives, development and humanitarian organisations, non-for-profit organisations, and impact start-ups and more to sign up to connect with future talent.    Organised by The Hague Humanity Hub in collaboration with The Hague University of Applies Sciences, TU Delft, Institute for Social Studies, InHolland The Hague, The Hague International Centre, Impact City, Volunteer The Hague and the Municipality of The Hague, this event seeks to inspire, educate, and create pathways for individuals to embark on purposeful and impactful careers that contribute to positive change. Thanks to dutchbuzz for us to be on there show. Sometimes when going through a difficult time, the worst feelings we can experience are feelings of loneliness, isolation and misunderstanding. This is why we crave affection, attention and support from those around us. But, sometimes, it is just not enough when we feel like even the people closest to us do not understand us. Join our informal small and cozy group of internationals who can truly understand what you are going through and share the wisdom of their experiences.    Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive environment for exploration of the changes brought to our lives by the loss of a loved one. We request that what takes place in the group stays within the group, creating a safe and non-judgmental space.

On 14 October 2021, we once again held our popular Mix & Match Networking Event & Volunteer Job Fair - our first event after the summer holidays! This was a bit of a special "hybrid" event for us, as it was the first time since the start of the pandemic that the VTH team was back in the office together. It was so wonderful to run an event from PEP headquarters and be around one another again! And practically, running the event from a centralized location (as opposed to our own kitchen tables) was very convenient for us. In addition to the VTH team, we were joined virtually by representatives from 12 local non-profits and NGOs, as well as over 160 attendees! For two hours, our attendees mixed and mingled with each other and with the organizational representatives in Zoom breakout rooms - and from what we saw, many positive and fruitful connections were made! And to start off this event, our fantastic speaker (and longtime friend of VTH) Vassia Sarantopoulou of the mental health support organization AntiLoneliness was on hand to give a short presentation on how to cope with constant change in our lives. Considering everything that's happened in the world over the last 18 months, this is both a timely and necessary topic. Take a look at this video to get a sense of how the event went!
